Pinekin is my independent software studio. It gives the things I make a shared home, while letting each project have its own name, look, and reason to exist.
I like software that does one useful thing clearly. An app does not need to become a platform to earn a place in someone's day. Sometimes the best version is the one that feels easy to open, easy to understand, and easy to leave when the job is done.
Projects first
Pinekin is the name on the workshop door. The projects are what you came to see. Each one should explain what it helps with before talking about its technology or the studio behind it.
That also gives me room to try different ideas. A browser extension can be playful; another tool can be quieter. They can feel related without looking identical.
Room for personality
Useful software can still feel considered. A friendly detail, a clear sentence, or an interaction that behaves exactly as expected can make a focused tool pleasant to use.
This is where I'll share notes about the work: why something exists, what changed, and what I learned while making it. Short, specific, and written by the person building it.
